Many of the practices that we promote as Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners are based in sound environmental protection.  A good understanding of Water Quality, and how we can affect Water Quality by our land use practices can help us to understand how to make the right choice, and how to explain the proper practice to the public.  This page provides a link to a PowerPoint presentation prepared by Frank Reilly, a master Gardener and environmental professional, for the express purpose of explaining Water Quality to Master Gardeners.  You will need either Microsoft PowerPoint or a free Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer to view this presentation.  If you have a dial-up connection to the internet, you may prefer to download the Outline of the Presentation.
